Auger units use flights to remove cuttings from the hole. Our small truck auger is a 2018 Mobile B-29 unit. This rig has a 6.5 foot stroke and 4,200 ft lbs of torque. A 4X4 F550 carrier and low mast allow this rig to quickly access sites that might be challenging for our larger truck auger.
We advance 4” thru 8.75” diameter augers with this machine. Complete with an SPT hammer this unit is generally used for environmental or geotechnical investigations. This unit can be equipped to facilitate coring, mud rotary, ODEX or hammer drilling.
