Auger units use flights to remove cuttings from the hole. Our rubber track mounted auger is a low clearance 2017 Acker Renegade. This rig has a 6’ stroke and 8,000 ft lbs of torque.
We advance 4” thru 14” diameter augers with this machine. Complete with an SPT hammer this unit is generally used for environmental or geotechnical investigations. The multispeed head allows for coring and this unit can be equipped to facilitate mud rotary, ODEX or hammer drilling.
