Auger units use flights to remove cuttings from the hole. Our truck mounted auger is a 2003 Gus Pech GP1300 unit. This rig has a 24 foot stroke and 13,000 ft lbs of torque. 24 feet of stroke enables this unit to out perform any typical auger machine. This equates to less time on site and a lower overall cost to the client.
We advance 4” thru 18” diameter augers with this machine. Complete with an SPT hammer this unit is generally used for environmental or geotechnical investigations. This unit can be equipped to facilitate mud rotary, ODEX or hammer drilling.
