Direct push drilling uses static force combined with percussion to advance a tool string. This method is known for its ability to quickly and efficiently recover soil samples. This method eliminates cuttings and provides continuous soil core samples contained in liners.
Our tracked Geoprobe 7822DT is high capacity direct push machine in a very small package. In addition to advancing single rod or dual tube direct push sampling systems it is able to drill using auger, air rotary and mud rotary. It is equipped with a high speed rock coring head and SPT hammer. The small dimensions of this machine allow it to drill in relatively tight spaces.
